The water is as clean as it was when Columbus landed the fishing pressure is virtually non-existent. We are seizing the opportunity to develop a fishery that is even better than fishing like it used to be. - Northern Pike: The Northern Pike range from 5 to 50 lbs. They are generally found feeding in the shallows, but the really big ones go deep to hunt in the cooler water. - Brook Trout: Our Brookies weigh up to 6 lbs. They inhabit the feeder streams of Perdu, and are the only fish that can make the climb to the outpost camps. Since they live without predation, they are both plentiful and reckless. - Whitefish: It is a white meat fish that can reach 4 lbs. They fight like the devil when caught, and are a reel challenge to land with fly tackle. - Lake Trout: Lake trout can be caught on the surface nearly throughout the entire summer. The lake trout are between 3 to 45 lbs. The main camp is located in the northern wilderness at 70 13\\\' W, 50 39\\\' N, with two satellite camps on a plateau at a higher elevation. There are three cabins available for our guests on Lac Perdu (the BIG Lake). It takes well over 3 or 4 days to see it all by motorboat and hike some of the rivers. We offer over 100 additional lakes are on the property, all accessible by hiking, canoeing and portage, etc. The fishing on the lakes is excellent for catching northern pike and lake trout. A free night\\\'s accommodations are offered at Lake Margane, the float plane base if you choose to fly rather then drive in.
